The Adventures Of Tom Sawyer!

Hey! Hey!

Okay, I was forced to read Tom Sawyer in class! I normally don't read books like this, but I didn't have a choice, so I decided, "Hey, I'll talk about this book!" The book, to me, was sometimes good, but I didn't like it personally! I normally like every book I read, but this one just didn't click for me! Here is a a little info on this book if you haven't heard of it!

One boy's life on the banks of the Mississippi. Join Tom Sawyer and his friends Huck Finn and joe Harper on their adventures along the shores of Mississppi River. They run away to live like pirates, are presumed dead, and return just in time for their own funeral. They even witness a murder, and discover treasure beyond their wildest dreams. Wherever the river leads him, Tom Sawyer is sure to find trouble-and fun.

So that was little bit about the book! Like I said, I didn't enjoy the book very much. It was a good book, just not my type of book I would presonally read!

I watched the movie, and for the first time thought the movie was better than the book! Now, there was more detail in the book, but the movie was excellent! I would say to watch the movie before reading, because if you read first, you will not want to watch the movie, which I liked!

Anne Of Green Gables

Hey Guys!

To start off my blog, I wanted to tell you about Anne Of Green Gables! This book is really fascinating, and I love how the author writes in this book. If you don't know what this book is about, well here is a little bit about the book!

As soon as Anne Shirley arrived at the snug, white farmhouse called Green Gables, she knew she wanted to stay forever...but would the Cuthberts send her back to the orphanage? Anne knows she's not what they expected-a skinny girl with decidedly red hair and a temper to match. If only she could convince them to let her stay, she'd try very hard not to keep rushing headlong into scrapes or blurt out the very first thing she had to say. Anne was not like anybody else, everyone at Green Gables agreed; she was special- a girl with an enormous imagination. This orphan girl dreamed of the when she could call herself Anne Of Green Gables.

Now, I love old time period books, and this one was a hit! I loved the storyline and everything about this excellent book! L.M Montgomery is a wonderful author, and I can't wait to start reading the sequel!

Okay, I watched the movie, and was not as impressed as I was for the book. The movie didn't even touch the book, but it still was a good movie. They didn't put everything I wanted them to put in the movie! I didn't imagine Anne the way the movie did, but I think that's always how it happens! I was disappointed, but it still was good movie!

Now, I suggest that you DO NOT see the movie first, because when you see the movie you'll think, "Now I really don't wanna read the book!" If you like, romance, adventure, drama, comedy all at the same time, well I believe Anne Of Green Gables is the book for you!!!
